What gets imported from Stocky?
Purchase order history (every PO, every line item), supplier records (auto-derived from PO data — Stocky doesn't let you CSV-export suppliers, but Skucast reconstructs them), and vendor lead times if you have them as a separate export. Stocktakes, transfers, and forecasts are NOT imported (Skucast computes its own forecasts from your sales history once connected to Shopify).
Do I need Shopify POS Pro?
No. Stocky required POS Pro at $89/mo. Skucast works with any Shopify plan — Basic, Shopify, Advanced, or Plus. Install via the Shopify App Store, OAuth in 30 seconds.
How does the trial work?
30 days free, no credit card required at signup. After 30 days you'll be prompted to subscribe (Parts $99 / Pro $249 / Enterprise $499) — your data stays put if you take a few days to decide. If you don't subscribe, the workspace stays read-only for 30 more days, then archives.
What happens to my Stocky account?
Nothing — they coexist. You can run both side-by-side during the migration so you don't lose any in-flight POs. Once you've validated Skucast is working for you, just stop using Stocky. It'll sunset on its own August 31.
Is my data private?
Yes. Each merchant runs in an isolated tenant — no shared databases, no cross-merchant data access. Storage is Cloudflare KV with merchant-scoped keys. You can export everything as CSV or JSON anytime, and request full data deletion via email.
Who built Skucast?
Skucast was built by a Shopify dealer team that outgrew Stocky. The product runs in a real trailer / parts dealership today — Shopify since 2019, real catalog, real POs, real customers. That's how we know it solves the problems we describe — we use it ourselves every day before any customer touches it. Skucast is a product of CARMOTIVE LLC, a Michigan-based software company.
